The 2100 series offers a superb balance of pillowy cushioning and rock-steady stability features, and this update doesn't tinker with the winning formula too much. We recommend the 2150 as a supportive high-mileage shoe for normal-arched runners.
These are SUPERB shoes: I have the updated version - 2160, beautiful shoes to run/walk in. Highly, highly recommended! Gel cushioned, light and very durable.
@olasonn Yes, I tried it with Nike Frees, Brooks Adrenalines, even barefoot on grass. Maybe if my feet weren't so jacked up it would work, but having almost flat feet and and outward tilt to my ankles makes things difficult.
I've tried both kinds of foot strike (heel and forefoot) and get the same rate of shin splint injuries with both. Some people can correct issues like that by running differently, but a lot of us aren't going to see any difference.
I don't really understand why people would run in a shoe with a full length outsole of something that raises you off the ground like Nike shox or adida's bounce. They might look cool, but as far as running goes that's how you turn an ankle. Aasics and New Balance are by far the best running shoes imo.
I agree..with all of you...kayano...kinsei..overpriced..too much GEL...the 2150 s are the best fit and feel for the $...the 1150 s are good too.

I agree with you.

To my opinion, the best running shoes. Don't pay for Kayano or Kinsei etc. they are way overpriced.

@MarineOfficer69 I see. We're all different, and we sometimes have to go at it from different angles. Hope you find something that works for you.

@MarineOfficer69 Did you try forefoot running with lightweight shoes?
