This specimen, from the famous Easter Pocket, is comprised of brilliantly lustrous, tabular azurite crystals on calcite rich matrix. The photos can not possibly convey the high quality of these crystals due to the contact with the matrix. There is absolutely no damage except for one 2mm nick on one of the more than a dozen crystals. Really quite exceptional. Under SW UV light the calcite rich matrix is bright fluorescent orange.
