Two chrome Hottie Pickups in a St. Blues Mississippi Bluesmaster guitar. The bridge pickup has less output compared to the Bettie bridge pickup in SG video. Again: A lot of detail and focus. Good for all styles.

My '08 MS Bluesmaster is the only guitar of the eight I own that is stock as it came from the factory. It's perfect. It is unfortunate that they do not make this guitar any longer. I have not played the USA version that St. Blues sells now so I can't make a comparison but my "08 would be hard to beat.

@Hawk1946 If you find one, check out on of the few US-made guitars they had built in Nashville. I had a 61 South here that was a killer.

im looking to get an all-around guitar that has warm clean tones and tight/focused distortion. what do you think of the st blues bluesmaster? with the stock pickups.

@rickenbacker95 The Mississippi Bluesmaster is a lovely guitar with a nice focused tone. Try one. The stock pickups are great. Don't worry about these.
