Satirical BBC Video Game Documentary

Speech event written and performed by Stephen Torrence originally for NCFCA competition. It won 1st place at the Texas state level for Original Oratory. Filmed by Evan Phillips using a Sony camcorder, recorded onto a MacBook Pro using iMovie HD.

hm, this is wierd, do you compete in NFLs. i do oratory in that, but our rules say that our speech has to be a persuasive a little moving. but i really enjoy your speech, its soo good

No, I've never done NFL, just NCFCA. And their interpretation of Original is a bit less restrictive. It says the speech can be humorous and doesn't have to be serious, so I took that and ran with it. lol

This is an O.O.? because that's the event i do for debate and no one that ive heard's speech is anything like that lol i like your speech though. any tips?

Yep, I did it for Original Oratory because that was the only category that allowed me to do an original work. There was nothing in the rules against it, so it worked out fine.

Tips would be um... don't be boring, try to be creative and ad-lib a bit each time you do the speech, don't be afraid to go a little off-script, be yourself and do what you do best. Just let it flow, and you'll do great. :)

It's kinda funny how you bother to add subtitles to the videos of yourself performing sign language, but when you only talk, there are none? What i'm trying to say is.... it would be awesome if all your videos had subtitles! :D
