Contrary to popular belief the motion picture industry did not start with the camera nor has it been centered in Hollywood. Rather it's roots in North America are over 1000 years old. The Mimbres culture of southwest New Mexico were the first to create movies. Although limited by technology, using only what nature had provided, the Mimbres began creating single frame movies. These portable movies could be shared with other and they were even included in burials so the departed could watch their favorite movie.
Here, presented for the first time in over 700 years since the disappearance of the Mimbres culture is a Mimbres movie. Sit back and imagine what going to the movies used to be like in the distant past.
