I love the sound of that snare, a lot of acoustic sound to it

Sounds like a gospel church tuned snare drum

I am guessing that your question is somehow based upon something connecting to the Jeff Porcaro video (on Rosanna)...either way, I found it somewhat ironic that Porcaro - the person who made this shuffle more popular - explained it in a way that was INCONSISTENT with the shuffle beat itself...(if you read my initial comment on this video) the grace/ghost notes are ADDED to the existing standard shuffle beat..but regardless of how you learn it, playing it correctly is what counts...

Isn't the ghost note on the second beat of the triplet? (RgR RgR RgR)
How old are you ?
Nice job

damn U are pro dude.. that shuffle is awesome xD! I love the hi-hat stuff.. I really need some practice when I see you drumming xD.
I got Roland Td-9 and a Delta Drum what I mixed up with my oldest drum set. So now it is just 1 big drum of Delta Drum and Shock.
Love your work! Keep On Rockin! !~!

Thanks man, glad you liked the vid. May I ask a question...what is a delta drum? Is it some type of older electric kit?

can u play real drums?
HaCd117 3 years ago
Yep I certainly can. I played real drums a good 5-6 years before playing an electric. I do use the electronic mainly for practicing these days (as it is always set up and also much quieter!), but I do still play the real thing when I can. Nothing beats acoustic kits, but I do like the electronics as a practicing tool and for recording these vids (as I dont own drum mics or a mixing desk!).
