he city of Coral Gables was more than tipsy in welcoming Barcardi USA to their city on Thursday.
The rum giant opened its 15-story headquarters in the city. It's a complete luxury behemoth of a building complete with its own mini-museum and its own bar.
But while Coral Gables was busy celebrating Bacardi new homes, questions still linger over Bacardi's most famous building in downtown Miami.
The two iconic Miami office buildings, first built in the 1960 and 1970s, now sit virtually empty. The city of Miami deemed it a historic site last October.
Bacardi USA has since remained tight-lipped about their future plans with the building, and on Thursday, things were no different.
