From Yuma Arizona with Love, Keep dancing.
This ten minutes video is part of a two hour program (workshop) on the art and science of dance.
The workshop focuses on the curriculum the student of dance have to go through in the typical Modern/Jazz dance class environment.
Some of these students have had many years of dance training, others had only a few.
These young dancers attended this workshop for three months. Three times a week for one hour and a half each class and the results is what you see.
For more information on how to see the full video, contact the teacher, choreographer and director.

"Dancers will have neither the skills nor the elements for creativity until they have learned the ABC of dance movements.
After learning the basic dance forms, they can begin to find their own personal style, diversify and create if they want to.
First you learn the alphabet. Then you construct sentences. Then you make poetry."

Not only their dance garb make it so 80's (e.g, the leotards, tights, and the legwarmers in which the lass wore when she dances to "Thank God I'm a Country Boy" lol), but notice their dance routines - they're FLASHY!
