The open screens, menus, and gameplay footage of Destruction Derby for the Sony Playstation video game system. The car icon on the right hand side show the condition of the player's car. The icons shift from green to yellow to red as the car becomes damaged. White smoke/steam indicates the car's radiator is blown and the car is close to being out of commission. Black smoke means the car is out commission. As the car become damaged, it becomes harder to control the car, which explains why I'm traveling mostly in circles in the end.

It is hard to believe nowadays, but this was super hot game when it came out...real time 3D destructible models were pretty much unheard of prior to this in console games.
