This is the first part of Ron Paul's speech at the "The Ron Paul Pride of Texas Freedom Rally" in Fort Worth, Texas. This was the night before the Texas GOP Straw Poll.

The video quality is not the best as I taped this with my digital camera. I did have front row seats though and tried to keep the camera anchored on the chair to reduce jitters. I did not get the entire speech as my camera can only record up to around 10-min of video per file. Anyway, enjoy the video.

  • @goingtobeapilot George Washington. He later became a federalist.

  • I have a question, has there ever been an independant pres. in office? I seriously don't know. (P.S. please excuse my bad spelling. lol)

  • If Ron Paul ran as an independent than he wouldn't have had the national exposure that he got! This ~democracy is totally broken. Ron Paul could win the vote of the people and still would not win because of voter fraud, super delegates, and a non-democratic state ruling over its employees (the U.S. citizens).

  • Your comment regarding the source of Ron Paul's contributions is unfounded and speculative. FACT: he receives more donations from active duty military than any other candidate. DO you really think that pre-18 year old kids are going to their parents and asking them to donate to a presidential candidate?

  • not only young republicans, i'd consider myself independent, i'm 17 and will be to young to vote for president but you see i have tons of friends who are 18 or will be and they could care less for politics but will register republican and vote for ron paul for me....and trust me others will do that and not all of us have parents to donate money, a lot of us work...remember we're teenagers, we find a way to do it

  • actually the constitution was changed in 1914. to steal money from the american workers.. tax the dollars you work hard for...

vote for ron paul.. let's put the power back in the peoples hands!

  • I'm a liberal... Most would see me as very democrat... But, i believe in our constitution and what this country was founded on and sadly, since bush clinton then bush, the constitution has been systematically eliminated...

So forget this phoney left right paradon.. We finally have a real choice...

    RON PAUL 2008!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Youtube cut off my comment:

But sadly, they aren't. That's a pretty small voting block. Old people never use the net to donate money, they think the net is good only for research and e-mailing. Paul should run as an Independent, and he's being dumb not to. He could actually win, a lot of people like him and so many people hate Guilianni and Clinton.
