Your Daily Politics Video Blog: The Oscar-winning documentary filmmaker Alex Gibney (Taxi to the Dark Side) has a new film in the works on Jack Abramoff. It's not expected to be released until 2009, but when we caught up with Gibney last month in Austin, where he was previewing the film at Netroots Nation, he was already well-versed in the arcana of the Abramoff scandal. We got a chance to talk with Gibney about Jack and the other colorful characters in that circle: Ralph Reed, Grover Norquist, and... Dolph Lundgren.
Too bad it won't be released until after the election. Sounds like it's going to be excellent, even better than the great work Moyers did for PBS.

Wouldn't it be interesting to do an investigatory documentary on how George Soros is backing Obama, a pal of terrorist Bill Ayers? No, that would be too topical and pertinant to the future of the US.

I like the title "Casino Jack...." and hope they go with it.
With some of the same characters popping up associated with the McCain campaign I wish they were getting it out prior to Election Day.
