Former Vice President Cheney responded to a question about the inevitability of legal same-sex marriage in the U.S., saying that he believed "freedom means freedom for all" but that decisions about marriage laws are best made at a state level.

  • I don't know the history of marriage law or it's governmental component, and it may be fair to say that this should be an issue regulated by state governments only. I wonder how Mr. Cheney (do I still call him Mr. VP Cheney?) would compare/contrast this to federal laws about racial matters...did the federal government overstep in that case too? I credit him with having a nuanced stance on these matters.

  • @emoviebuff87 umm they aren't for gay marriage...... and even if they were a bit, they dislike it and believe love can only be between a men and woman, and that its going ''against'' god..
