Strobe Lightning in Minneapolis on a wicked storm front.

Last night the lightning was fantastic. I recorded a tape of the storm edge coming in.
August 11 2007.
It was a cool shelf cloud for a while but then it rolled over and slammed the area with wind and rain. I thought there was some sort of tornado going and had nothing but to QUICKLY jump in the RV. Just straight line winds, I now surmise. I could make a better vid sometime.

Looking at it again, that bolt of lightning hit the freaking Bee Hive thing in Saint Louis Park!

Yeah, It was crazy how I watched that thing roll over head and it really started pouring and wind was intense.

I was frightened! Maybe I can make a better video soon..

Actually..the winds maybe...but the lightning no...lightning doesn't affect airpllanes like people think it does...

Lightning struck twice right around our house and blew out a TV and one of our computers. Other than that, it was a pretty disappointing storm where I was...they were saying it was going to be HUGE. :p
