I wonder if a normal human being in his 5/6 senses utter rubbish that Denzel is overated , then , what else does that person appreciates to be good . Its better to say you hate Denzel than tell us such nonsense . Denzel is by a mile , the finest African American actor and one of the very best in the industry , so if u aint got nothing else to do , shut up !

Heath Ledger's joker was not exactly a positive guy either. But it was the best performance and that is all that matters.

Denzel was great in Training day, as he was in Malcom X,Hurricane and so many of his other roles. I just think it's sad that it's when he finally plays a very negative role , they are convinced to give him an oscar. He has had an Oscar coming for a long time. It's just sad that the role of a corrupt and violent black cop is what won him the role.Kinda says a lot about how they vote.
