In this first part of the guitar lesson we check out the main riff and intro solo from this classic tune from his Unplugged album. The following lessons will cover the chords and strumming and then the main solo.

Taught by Justin Sandercoe.

Full support at the justinguitar web site where you will find hundreds of lessons on a wide range of subjects, and all the scales and chords that you will ever need! There is a great forum too to get help, no matter what the problem.

And it is all totally free, no bull. No sample lessons, no memberships, no free ebook. Just tons of great lessons :)

To get help with this lesson (and for further info and tabs), find the Lesson ID in the video title (like ST-667 or whatever) and then look it up on the Lesson Index page of justinguitar.com

Have fun :)

  • im officialy torn, but i love both marty and justin.. : )

  • I love your fret inlays

  • @colinkites3000 thank you so much

  • @tannerr96 Look at a diagram of whatever scale he is using for a given song (maybe start with natural minor or major). You can "harmonize" two notes that are in the scale... maybe start with thirds... so if you have your scale notes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7.. You could play 1 and 3 together, 2 and 4, 3 and 5 etc. and see how that goes. These are called "double stops". Search for "introduction to guitar double stops" for info.

  • i love the tip and lessons way to go..

  • can you do me a favor? i watch clapton play and he does this descent playing two notes and slides down the fretboard playing different combinations during a solo. i know how to improvise and i tried to figure it out but i found out that you can't just play two together and that specific ones go together. if you know the technique, which i'm sure you do, can you please explain it to me

  • @bensypianski I believe it's a C bar chord.

  • @bensypianski C#m
