About as long as the Germans lasted. And I really do not care about the American Army as I am a Canadian . And WE had the best army in the World. During WW1 the Canadian Army was known as the Army that never lost a battle.

@rainintheface100 I wonder how long the americans could have fought against both germans and soviets attacking from two sides with superior manpower and resources. The german army was better in everyway except in size.
