This was Basrah in southern Iraq in 07. i was also in the IZ in 08. The IDF in Basrah was ridiculous! We took idf 3 times a day sometimes, 12-24 rounds for 17 stright months. yea the firefighters were great. When we started getting hit the DoS sent them out and then brought them right back. We had to move into hard cover as hooches we being hit every day!

Yes they did theirjob. They were moved off base one day by DOS because of IDF then we had a fuel point hit and then they brought them back.

That's the worst sound in the world. I'd be on post and hear that fucker tearing through the air. " Please don't hit me"
