Were matched mixed
Twisted
Equivalent to cross-stitched mittens
Crocheted knittings
Unfitting
Shrunken
Like linens permanently swapped development
Satisfactions regret
Contentment
No second chance at forgiveness
closing the distance of light-years between us

Explain why this is
Define why were struggling
and grieving like this
Not knowing when to let go
Always justifying a reason to stay
A reason to tolerate a constant melee
A reason to never change
Or ever learn
To never try or grow or budge
To never know the true meaning of love
And its quest
Always wondering what to do next
Take baby steps
Crawl then walk
Walk then run
Run then jump the gun
Ran a mile before time begun
Head start
Start ahead, but finished last
Un-succeeding
But never give up, no matter the reason
Just believe and Conquer
