NIce sounding pipe...but I find I like my sport bikes with some sound but my touring bikes quieter. That rip-roaring pipe sounds cool for 30-50 miles but on a 300 mile trip?...OMG!... where'd I put my earplugs! LOL! Cool bike...enjoy! : )
@SR71BBFLYER Since I wear earplugs every time I ride anyway it doesn't bother me. Actually, it really isn't that loud at all when cruising down the interstate or droning along some back road 2-lane; the bags and location of the pipe keep it pretty quiet.....until you juice the gas....then it sounds all kinds of nice.
Nice vid. Did you encounter any issues with scraping the mid-pipe on hard right hand lean angles? Been considering getting the same setup for my '04 but want to see if that's an issue still.
So far I've yet to scrape the mid-pipe. However.......Since putting on the Hyperpro rear shock I don't scrape the peg feelers as much either. On a bike with a stock rear shock you might have more of an issue.
