Leonardo believed in Armageddon and believed that a huge wave by god will cover all of man. He quoted "Seawater will rise above the high peaks of mountains toward the sky and will fall down again onto the dwellings of man" some of his art express his feelings of Armageddon like in the "last supper" where in the back round out side the door and window you can see a large blue shadow that is a large wave.
