when i saw that tornado from about 3 miles away i almost shit my pants and a few minutes later it hit about 1000 ft away from where i was.

I live over on Icon ave which is over by I-90 and we watched the whole thing form it took of the whole backside of the house of the people who live less then a mile away from us this is something ill never forget

My wife, my baby, and I were driving home from Madison and we met this thing on 90 west of Sparta around 4:45 right by the rest area. It was coming right down the north side of the interstate. We made an attempt to get around it but ended up pulling over on the turnaround. I looked in the rear window and could see debris flying through the air, it BARELY missed us. Afterwards, I was shaking all the way to the MN border.

@brivy0702 That is crazy. I was probably driving right alongside you (west on I-90) but I decided to get off at this Sparta exit (exit 28) to see if I could get a better view of the storm. It touched down, then receded, then passed right over us. The wind snapped a tree in front of the gas station where I was and broke the antenna off the roof.

@Familyguy098 It was a kid from another car that had stopped. I had been looking in the wrong direction until I heard her crying and then I looked over and saw the funnel cloud.
