You're lucky he's not gone. I'd make one suggestion - don't 'herd' the male towards the female...they signal to each other and he knows what he's doing. If he starts to walk away, let him. He received a signal from her to back off and he did....just let him. It looked like she wasn't ready to mate...how big is she? When was her last molt?

oh dang. i was worried that he would be facing the side if she attacks.
i'll keep that in mind. thank you very much. the owner said she recently molted not over 2 months ago. another female has just molted 3 weeks ago. and she was a lot more receptive so i will mate him with her instead.
thank you very much. you've been a lot of help. more power.

@silverfeatherwerewol hey dude!! I got two G.roseas! Problem is, its happening the same thing as you, the male runs away or they ignore each other!! My female looks like she would molt soon, is that the reason because nothing happend??

@pspeas i would probably wait for 3 weeks after she molts, be thankful she didnt eat your male. mine ended up as a food ball. try not to stress the male prior to mating. dont ever leave them. be ready with something you can easily cover the female with. gut-load her before mating her. dont expect to see them mating the minute you put your male in. sometimes, he needs time. just watch him and be his bodyguard.
