Bert's Homecoming from IRAQ 10May2009

This is a video of us welcoming home Daddy, aka Our Hero.

This was the 4th BEST day of my life (the birth of my kiddos took up the first 3)

God blessed the troops of 2-12 Cav 4BCT 1CAV Division. We made it through a 12 month deployment with ZERO combat fatalities.

This day was especially poignant because not only was it Mother's Day, but Daddy was meeting our 2 month old son for the first time.

My hubby also re~proposed to me when he got in. We will be renewing our vows in the Catholic Church when we PCS back to the states from Germany.

My Mom, Step-dad, Daughter, my youngest son, and our friend Heather and her kiddos were with us.

This was the BEST Mother's Day EVER!!!! Not only did the love of my life come home safely, but I got an extra set of hands....courtesy of the US ARMY...LOL

God Bless Our Troops, and The Job They Do!!!!

It brought me to tears! This video reminds me of my hubbys firt Homecoming, that was one of the best days in my life! I can't wait to have a moment like that again! I can not wait for him to get back from Afghanistan by the end of the year!!!

welcome home trooper! i was deployed with 4BCT, 1st CAV with the ORIGINALS back in 2006, and was one of its original members who stood the BDE up in Ft.Bliss in 2005. god bless from a disabled vet to another vet wel come home! "LONGKNIFE"
