JN: Zachary Schneider is back in town after a two week hiatus.
AM: Schneider took time out from his correspondence work for a family trip to Drumheller's Dinosaur museum and a weeklong session at bible camp.
JN: In an interview with Andru McCracken Zachary had the chance to share some of what he learned on that trip.
ZACH DINOSAUR
AM: For millennia, churches have been looking for methods to get warm bodies into church pews.
JN: Finally, they struck the right chord.
AM: On August 25, Four beautiful young women sang lovely songs in the Anglican United Church to the delight of many.
JN: Here is Sudbury's Faye Blais and the Australian lasses called Jungal, singing a song called: Something's changed.
FAYE BLAIS
AM: It's more like a rock concert than a church service.
JN: It's saving souls Anne Marie.
AM: I think cage fighter Del Mylnyk should check out a service over there.
JN: Why's that?
AM: To get his affairs in order.
JN: Anne Marie! Mixed Martial Arts has turned you in to a bloodthirsty animal.
AM: And it's done wonders for my figure.
JN: You are looking good.
AM: Let's get back to this CRTC thing.
JN: If you live in a community served by cable, you should know that there are going to be more opportunities to do what we do.
AM: You too can waste people's time and money making substandard community television.
JN: Changes to the CRTC regulations will mean that fully half of their programming and half of their funding must go to community television shows like this one.
AM: Many people were disappointed because it leaves cable companies in charge of a program they've been neglecting for years.
JN: But after talking to the CRTC, we think there's hope.
AM: Content guidelines could be the toehold we need to rejuvenate community tv nationwide.
JN: It's a recipe for making more prime time divas and more bloodthirsty starlets.
AM: So if you need any tips call us. (wink)
JN: We'll show you how it's done.
AM: And good luck to Del Melnyk at his big fight on October 2.
JN: You switched sides now?
AM: No. But our man Jose doesn't need luck.
JN: I honestly hope nobody gets seriously injured.
AM: I wouldn't call Del Melnyk a nobody, but I hope he gets hurt too!
