When performing a backflip on the ground, stretch out the ankles, shoulders and neck, while executing a few warm up drills to loosen the muscles in the body. Pull the chest toward the ceiling and pull the knees into the stomach to execute a backflip with tips from a gymnastics coach in this free video on gymnastics.
