He is going to cook her. Poor fluffy!!!

Good point. I don't intend connecting anything until the welding is completed...

I burned up my radio that way!

Careful about installing electronic bits before u start welding. AC arc welders emit frequencies that can fry stuff. It's looking like u might win that bet after all!
Good Luck!

Sounds great. There hasn't been any more progress on the car since the last video (I got too frustrated). I'll probably be going home this weekend to work on it- get the other seat in and the rest of the dash components. I'll be making another video if I do all of that stuff.

Kyle, Thanks...The coupler is being made as we speak. The batteries should be arriving in about a week. I still have to order my charger and controller.
Did you get all you dash back together OK?
Would a heating element made for 120 volts withstand a DC voltage of 180?

@anewlow23 - I am not sure what would happen. You may be better off with a 240V element, eg. as is used here in Australia.

That's the same type of heater I put in my car! It makes a great heater for a small car like mine and yours. Are you running your heater off of the main battery bank or off of a power inverter? (I'm using a power inverter because my 48V battery bank isn't quite powerful enough)

I am running it from the 120V main pack via a solid state relay.
