Laura's story: http://hidden-dragons.blogspot.com/
This is the story of the day I found out I had Stage III Breast Cancer, at the age of 39 with two young children. Although breast cancer is too common, facing it at a younger age is less common. Just under 7% of all breast cancer cases occur in women under 40. Typically feeling more comfortable on the other side of the camera, she decided it was important to share her story to inspire and encourage others helping them to feel less isolated in their experience. Laura is writing about her story dealing with breast cancer at: http://hidden-dragons.blogspot.com/

Making a video is emotional, eh? But great work – very honest and real. I think it’s fascinating that everyone who is diagnosed (at least in these “Day I found out” videos) turns to some source of joy to bring them through. Glad to hear you’re 2 years and thriving!
