@dowuchyalike second to that, make sense. I like some mehtode of crosfit like box jump. Safe exercise are ok, but I agree with you, to many repetition = bad form = injury = you are fucked.
See, this is exactly what I don't like about Crossfit. Many WODs, especially the Nasty Girls, involve too many repetitions of a given exercise and as you tire it gets harder and harder to keep good form, which promotes injury. This dude is landing on the floor with a rounded back which is just going to fuck up his lumbar spine.

That's 20" high box. Rx for males is 24". 2-" is the prescribed height for women. Just saying.

I do them as a pushup. This is tough, but make it a pushup and it is nuts.
