AND PARTY EVERY DAY: THE INSIDE STORY OF CASABLANCA RECORDS is a BRAND NEW 320-page, hardcover book from Casablanca cofounder Larry Harris and the authors of KISS Alive Forever. Visit http://www.casablancabook.com to read excerpts from the book and purchase a signed copy directly from the authors.

THE DEEP: This is the original 1977 Casablanca Records 60-second TV spot for the soundtrack LP to THE DEEP, featuring Donna Summer, Beckett, and the music of John Barry. If anyone has a broadcast master of any of the Casablanca Records promo films/TV Spots, please let us know as we are trying to reacquire several "lost" Casablanca Records film and videotape elements. See our Web site for more details.

AND PARTY EVERY DAY is the very first full-length book about the infamous 1970s record label and its enigmatic founder Neil Bogart. In a blizzard of wild parties, spending, and fearless ambition, Casablanca Records launched the careers of KISS, Donna Summer, Parliament Funkadelic, Angel, the Village People, and single-handedly created the disco movement. Add an Academy Award-winning film division with product like The Deep, Midnight Express, Foxes, and The Hollywood Knights and you begin to understand why Casablanca became the hottest record label of the 1970s. Visit http://www.casablancabook.com to see more Casablanca Records videos.

  • j'addddddoooooore!!!!magnifique!!!

  • @Kohntarkosz Yes it does ...when they are inside the Hotel bar having cocktails, when you can hear the Lady's voice and it was the slow untempo love version...do you have the movie? also the classical version is there at many of the scenes and the special sound effects heard on the attacks.etc.,were used on Donna's dance version.

  • When I heard the song Theme From The Deep by Donna Summer it was very good memories of my time in Panama.

  • Donna Summer's version of the theme song is played at the VERY END of the closing credits. I saw the film when it came out and stayed 'till the lights came back on in the movie theater.

  • I remember this commercial for the soundtrack, ahh the memories. I have the soundtrack and even saw the film at the theater. In the closing credits they play the instrumental AND DONNA SUMMER'S rendition of the LOVE THEME FOR THE DEEP. It's at the VERY END OF THE FILM. I stayed 'till the lights came back on in the movie theater.

  • As I recall, the Donna Summer song doesn't actually appear in the movie itself, does it? I think she's mentioned in the closing credits, but the only thing you actually hear in the movie is an instrumental version of that song that plays over the closing credits (using the same melody that's heard during the film's opening, as well).
