  • Good job, thank you. We are hopefully taking delivery of our work surface in a few weeks. However (just being a bit picky!), why not move the objects from the work surface before tackling the job! My wife would have a real hissy fit if I just cleaned around objects..........

  • @DavidMcMeakin

Yes, you're absolutely right. I was too excited to shoot the first episode to really pay attention to what we were doing haha.

  • Laminate countertops are really the best and easiest in maintenance, i'm glad i didn't get granite, moreover that it's so expensive. But i guess it's a good movie for those who has it.

  • @LivingCountertops

You have to look at the cost vs time equation. With prices in the low thirties, it's hard to beat the value.

  • Hi, I have 'unknown' stains on my granite countertop, even though I am very careful about spilling anything or leaving it unwiped. These stains do not come off with soap and water. How can I remove them, please?

  • I have a granite tile floor (black and polished, countertop quality) with 1/4 thick grey masonry between the tiles. I like to bake alot and have young children. The crumbs are terrible. I have to sweep sometimes 3x daily. Food sticks to the granite and in the grout. I try to mop often, but the granite is really slick and a danger with the kids around. What can I do to keep the kitchen cleaner? Can I use some sort of tile vacuum/steam combo safely on the granite and grout?

    Thanks.

There you go, better comments as professional as you claimed for yourself.

  • @GraniteShorts Brilliant results following your tutorail. Thanks

What I lack in "technical facts" I make up in experience. I have not seen any residue on any countertop cleaned with dish soap. Ever. Including my own granite countertops. As shiny as day one and cleaned every day with this. It goes the same for all of the customers' countertops I've seen. Never ever a problem. Is a dedicated granite cleaner better? You bet.

Plates are made of different material. Do you know of this first hand?

Plates are 100% different from granite......

please make sure to get your analogy and comparison right next time you make your feedback...

Im sorry to say, you seem to lack of knowledge and technical facts that can support your arguement....

Good thing cleaning is not my job ;)

Poultice may be an answer here but most probably, a call to a restoration specialist is your best option here.
