Brand new Wii + Brand new SSBB = BROKEN!!!

I bought a brand new Wii along with Super Smash Bros. Brawl on my bday (4/4). When I tried to play it, I constantly got disc read errors during gameplay. I called up Nintendo and was told that I would have to send my Wii in for repair along with my SSBB game disc. Instead of fixing the console, Nintendo replaced it and sent me a new Wii which I just got today. As you can see from this video, it suffers from the same problem, so I called Nintendo AGAIN and I ended up sending it right back to them. I like Nintendo, but they are seriously starting to piss me off.........

UPDATE: I guess 3rd time's the charm with Nintendo- they replaced this Wii on 4/29 and I've been using it ever since with no problems ^_^

Well, I guess the 3rd time's the charm- the Wii I got back after this one actually worked & I've been using it since. I'm still kinda pissed that I overpaid ($400) for a brand new Wii and ended up w/a refurbished console b/c Nintendo didn't follow directions......

just send ur wii to nintendo there trouble shooting is so easy takes 20mins i just printed out my kinkos 2 day shiping ticket its free only thing u need 2 pay for is a box and bubble rap

aww man im having the same problem, my game is new too and I got it on christmas=BROKEN too lol. How do I know its safe to send it? I only go tto use it two times lol :(

My wii does that too and you know whats funny my xbox 360 still works fine and many people say xbox 360 has the most problems. Well too me the Wii seems to have the most problems.....

I got my wii december of 2007.

I got My first copy of SSBB april 2008. It worked for months up until like the summer / fall of 2008.

2 years later, Sept 2010. I fucking bought a new copy of SSBB and that didnt work, so i sent it into nintendo to repair it. Im still waitin on it and i hope to god it friggin works forever cuz its a pain in the ass.

i got brawl on june 19 2008 worked perfectly until i mid fall 2009 now my wii says i cant pick certain people (pit,marth,snake etc) and then now my wii cant detect any ssbb

i got my wii WAY b4 brawl and it read it fine,the thing that screwed it was me modding the LIVING FUCKING HELL out of it.

The Newer Wii's have the same disk reader lens as the older Wii's. it's because of dust build up on the lens which Nintendo was fixing for free back then. because I got my Wii a month before brawl brand new LU55 and it played brawl perfectly. the first and thousandth time all the way till last year when I had to buy the Wii lens cleaning kit........!

its the older ones with bad disc drives, i have one from the week they were released and i am having the ssbb problem
