James Dobson / Prop 8 Protest - Picket Line

Outside of the Renaissance Hotel in Chicago, IL on November, 8 2008. This protest was organized by the Gay Liberation Network.

Close to a thousand protest against James Dobson's induction into the the Museum of Broadcast Communication's Radio Hall of Fame. Dobson is an open sexist, racist, and anti-gay bigot and founder of Focus on the Family. He donated $800,000 to support California's Proposition 8 to take away homosexuals' right to marry.

if they want to preach against glbt's in there church whatever. but dont come out and shove it down our throats they want to live by the bible fine but don't force someone else to do the same thing. hate aint a family vaule us glbt's are just the same as everyone else and i myself am a bisexual male i am proud of who i am i did not choose this i was born this way. and am sick and tired of the religious right sticking there noise were it don't belong. stop hating u right wingers

LDS People raised a ridiculous amount of money to take away another group of people's rights, rights that hurt no one! That is neither kind nor tolerant. While it is true that some people in the LDS community are truly good people, it is also true that SOME homosexuals are not acting towards members of those groups, but they are both the minority. It's clear that you have been brainwashed and you can't recognize the hurtful actions of MOST of your community.
