  • A yo. I am totally sympathetic to their plight but I have never understood the logic of going on a hunger strike to achieve any objective other than weight loss. I'm sayin' what if the politicians say"fuck the teachers. Let 'em starve?"

  • THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU LET GOVERNMENT RUN SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Close the Government and raise Free Enterprise....

  • What a joke.

Cali teachers rank #1 paid in the USA by almost 20% compared to the next best paid teachers and still they always want more. LAUSD students score near the bottom nationally and LAUSD is a global joke in the worlds educational circles. Even Villaraigosa sees the farce that is LAUSD!

Enrollment drops every year and their budget explodes every year. What gives?

I'll tell you what gives. This guy is a debate coach? Look at him. He couldn't debate his way out of a lean to shelter.

  • @TheGREENLASE And you are an idiot who has no clue what they are talking about. LAUSD is a joke. Their budgets increase every year while their test scores and enrollment rate drops. Of all the kids who started in LAUSD in 1998 only about half are still there. Many of them are functional illiterates or barely literate. Some are simply illiterate. Socialistic thinking like yours is exactly why your country is bankrupt. Clean up your own mess before those in USA who want our fiscal house in order.

  • Why don't we INCREASE the budget? After all, the unions need their pensions funded more!!! Plus,..there's all that indoctrination that needs to be done, so the next generation can be 110% dependent on federal welfare entitlement programs! YES!! WE!! CAN!!!

  • 4sureJT,

    buddybleau+especially

RealityCheck86>obviously you have low IQ and inadequacy issues and why so much hatred against them poor teachers and them kids?so you think you know what education-means?what's your job?' you missed that out!a starbucks employee or sthng?a 'hygiene technician'?you obviously are materialistic pigs and don't understand that the basic values in life 4 a good living are EDUCATION-HEALTHCARE-SAFETY[police,army]if one link breaks the whole chain breaks!keep up TEACHERS!

  • Just look at the moron who is speaking. Says everything.

Fire the non-producers (each year - the bottom 20%), eliminate the pensions (absolutely ridiculous), and run this like a business.

It is a disgrace to have some idiots like these teach our kids.

And, wake up and stop paying your union dues. Get rid of the whole organization. THAt is where you will find more money you fools.

You don't deserve a pension or a job where your performance means nothing.

What are you scared of? You low IQs?

  • Hunger strike? Ha! Good deal, thats one way to get rid of the inadequate teachers.

  • The salaries that are saved by using required volunteers should be used to create a "Welfare Audit & Monitoring Administration" . If recipients have cell phones, cable and auto that value more than $5,000 - their benefits need to be reduced and/or terminated permanently.
