Do these do the same thing but just smaller in size ? JBL LSR2328P Powered Studio Monitor

15 hz is only needed if you are a whale trying to mate my friend.. The human ear isn't capable of hearing such a low frequency on an average, besides there simply is no point, considering most home speakers and car stereos will not support such a low frequency level...

don't forget that the specs for the 4311's were well under rated. they were rated at 75 watts rms i use 4 of them on my sansui g9000 wich is capable of 160 rms per chan. and they take every bit of power the g9 can put out. wether i use two or four speakers. if i go by the specs they should have blown by now.i spoke to a tech at jbl and i was told they could easily handle 200 watts rms and that they were under rated for sales purposes.

on a 15hz sweep the 4311's can resonate hvac ducts, glass - windows etc. you can't hear it but you can feel it. not to many speakers of that size can do that

4311s and 15hz?1? You're dreaming.

Men i want to think that you aren't mixing with the keyboard in front of you. you have to listen the sound directly from your speaker, what are you doing with that keyboard there? put your speakers at the level of your ears, trust to me the results will be awesomes.
Ive only read good reviews on these speakers. like to see some non pro reviews. on utube

People who are not pro's may shy away from spending the $ on upper end speakers.
If you're serious about your mixing then you know that it's not the speakers it's the room you mix in and these speakers help you adapt to your room. Mostly pro mixers
know this. I hope this helps answer why non-pro's do not review this product. Cheers.

JBL claimed an F3 of 45hz for the 4311. That means that 15hz is down over 30db from the speaker's area of flat response. Just because the speaker is making some noise at 15hz doesn't mean it has usable response there.

Ok, well my mixes sound great when I go to press. With people using Ipods that low end isn't as important as it was when people used home stereos.

You want to hear a real set of JBL's get a pair of 4311 control monitors. It will slam the bass down to 15 hz. BEST speakers ever made. look them up on wickipidiaor JBL pro.

Low is awsome for the clubs However most music is heard on ipods so bass below 50hz or even 60Hz is not necessary. I see what you mean though.
