Russell Simmons (Def Jam) speaks at Occupy Wall Street (Boston) 11-15-2011

Russell Simmons, entrepreneur and co-founder of Def Jam records, arrived this afternoon in Dewey Square to speak to Occupy Boston and the media about a constitutional amendment preventing corporations from financing political candidates that he hopes will receive bipartisan support.

@TheLondontruth btw, with all the money Simmons and Jay have, how much are they contributing to the people of OWS?? no, they are using OWS not only as a marketing ploy, but also as a ploy to support their favorite politicians. do you realize RS supports the democratic party monetarily (something he has yet to do for the people)? just as an example, Immortal Technique, who has a tenth the fortune RS has, opened an orphanage in Afghanistan with his money. RS? he'd never do that.
