Have you ever faced adversity so overwhelming that you want to bail out, run away, or change the direction of your life entirely to avoid it? People often say that "God never gives us more than we can take." I disagree! I think God gives us more than we can take all the time. Why? Because it's when we're faced with more than we can handle that we're forced to look up, surrender our pain and rely on Him completely. God brings us through adversity for a purpose: to make us strong, to make us tender and to make us more like His son.
