City of Mission Viejo Community Project
This is of the City of Mission Viejo Artes De La Vida 3rd Annual Earthday Celebration in Honor of Earth Day. Five cooperative artist donated their day to man a booth organized by Jennifer Koons. The community was invited to sit for a while and paint glazes on bisque to later be fired in my kiln. Everyone who came enjoyed their experience. The finished tiles become brighter upon completion. They will be installed at the Oso Creek Pathway in Mission Viejo. Once installed the mural can be enjoyed by all. I will post an invitation to come enjoy a celebration of the project. This was made possible by; The City of Mission Viejo, the community, and the following artisans; Jennifer Koons, Melanie Yarek, California Pottery, Laguna Clay Company, Janet C Panozzo of Artistic Ceramics & my mother Carol Jeanne Tapia for providing her words of wisdom.....
