Its best that moms educate their daughters on the subject of periods before she goes and gathers half baked know how on this subject.

She should also educate her on the proper use of sanitary napkins, tampons. She should also buy her adira period panties that are leak proof so she stays clear of staining

Wow! I can't believe some moms acutally do this to their daughters. Like having a period is some of curse or something dirty. Thank goodness my mother never reacted angrily when I first got mine. I had my first period when I was only 10. Although I got it pretty early, my mom told me about it B4 I got it. When I started, I wasn't scared.

It's usually something mothers are very proud of when it happens to their daughters where I am. When a girl gets her first period around here, the mother will brag to her friends about it : /

Kinda silly and embarrassing, but I'd rather that. Being angry is just ridiculous. You have no right to be angry with your kid over something they cannot control.
