This is a few test shots from our upcoming 2011/12 showreel
So far this year most projects have been under NDA, so we decided over the summer to go out and shoot a reel.
Before we started getting stuck in with tracking, modelling and compositing we did these few test shots to raise a few questions about what we were using and how it would look.
The main purpose behind these shots was not to produce perfect shots (these shots are far from perfect) but to see how the Canon 5D footage handled CG, frame rates, shot size, rolling shutter, tracking, what software for which jobs etc. Over all i'm glad we did this and got a few hiccups out of the way and developed a good pipeline for working.
Showreel 2011/12 is still being worked on and should be out within the next few weeks.
