  • Thank you for that video.... I just had mine done yesterday here in California... and yes... I know what you mean my discomfort... I am feeling very bloated.... haven't eaten much or drank much.... I am just uncomfortable... hopefully this discomfort will go away sooner than later.... thank you again... one other thing is that my neck is sore... I wonder if the is from the gas they inject?

  • @Orangechip88 Congrats and welcome to bandland!!! for the the gas pain was the worst....my kneck was painful...but the good news is it does go away...each day gets that lil bit better. How have you been getting on, are you on clear liquids? xxx

  • i love your blogsm, so inspirational

  • @clazza01 Thanks so much!! x

  • Hi im glad you were able to get your surgery done. My wife is going in today to get a pre screening. On a scale from 1-10 hoe painful is the whole experience?

  • i would say the worst pain for me was the gas pain because it was a constant dull ache. When u wake up it feel you have just done thousands of stomach crunches, and every time you move it hurts....but as each day went past the pain got better i only took paracetamol for 3 or 4 days. and went back to work after 7 days. But again...pain varies because everybody pain threshold is different...some feel it more than others. on a scale of 1-10 pain was a 6 straight after the op and went down each day

  • opps forgot to answer your last question. Life with the band is good, you have to learn to change your eating habbits as well as eating slowly and chewing properly otherwise you will be sick. But if you work with ya band, you will see results! xxx but it aint easy, its taken me nearly 8 months to get restriction so weight loss has been very slow, but im praying things will really start getting shifting now! xx

  • Hey

I know what you mean about the shopping things, i have never been a fan of shopping i always see it as a chore! Let me know how things go with the surgeon today! xx wish you all the best!

  • Well What Hurts Me Sooo Much is Shopping. it Makes Me Cry everytime i Go to try on Something i Would Have Worn 2 Weeks ago, Loving it, and Going to Try it on and it Doesnt Fit. or my Stomach is Too Big.

Another Thing That Hurts is Little Kids asking Me if i'm Pregnant. =( i'm Diabetic, So most of the Surgery is Covered as Far as i Know. But i guess We'll See.

    Hows Life after?
