Actually, the implant has been finalized for 5 months with a final crown instead of the temporary crown in this film. The brackets has been removed for quite some time already. He is in a regular 3 months periodontal maintenance program now and so far he is fine and happy. Thanks for your care!!

The gum recession was from previous treated periodontitis. You can now see the normal pink color around the teeth.

can u have implant when going through orthodontics ?
i had a root canal and my orthodontist has recently told me i cant have fixed braces as i had root canal on tooth needs to be extracted before braces will the implant be able to move like a functional active tooth?

Dental implants cannot be move like natural teeth. Once being placed, it is considered fixed in the dental arch. It depends on your orthodontist's treatment plan if the implant should be placed before or after orthodontic treatment.
