Description:

WHOmentors.com, Inc. registered as a team leader of unpaid trainees and volunteers to write, shoot, edit and score a short film (4 minutes to 7 minutes in length) from scratch for the San Francisco 48 Project from June 5 - 7, 2009, with no prior business or social introduction.

Mandatory Elements:
Randomly Assigned Genre--Comedy
Assigned Character--Claude Green
Assigned Occupation--Guitarist
Assigned Prop--a Hat
Assigned Line of Dialogue: "I believe anyone can change."

Judging Criteria: 1) The required Character and Prop must be seen on-screen; and 2) The required Line of Dialogue must be used verbatim.

Name: Absolutely, Positively, On-Time

Synopsis: A part-time delivery guy is on probation with his employer for botching a previous job. His kind-hearted supervisor and empathetic mentor decides to give him a second chance. The boss' instructions sets in motion a mix of lighthearted farcical slapstick and comedy of errors as the young man races across town on his sturdy skateboard to transport the package to a famous rock star musician within 20 minutes.

As the saying goes, "Rock Stars request and get what they want, when they want it."

Time is of the essence!

Claude Green refuses to perform onstage before his devoted, adoring crowd of paying customers until his very important gear arrives. The film ends well with the courier making the deadline just in time for the guitarist to emerge from the dressing room backstage wearing his coveted headgear backwards as if to say, "I'm different. I'm cool. I have imagination. I have something to say. Let's Rock!"

Commentary: Successful entertainers are popular not only because of their tremendous talents, but because they have an important attitude.

The music ensemble of horns, bass drums and percussion combined with appropriate sound effects keeps the mood light and playful and matches the exquisite timing and skillful execution of the masterfully edited videography.
