@samueladams7 Right, no speakers, it's entirely acoustic. The effects are controlled by electricity, but a theatre organ - a Robert Morton, a Wurlitzer or any other - contains many sets of organ pipes as well as tuned (marimba, xylophone, bells, chimes) and untuned (drums, cymbals, castanets, triangle, etc.) percussions and all manner of sound effects for spicing up silent films. The theatre organ was and is a one-man orchestra.

Beautiful! There is also a wonderful Morton organ in Copley Symphony Hall not far from Balboa Theater which is currently being restored.

There are no speakers on this organ. All pipes and wind-driven instruments.

How many speakers that thing got? Watts?

The tunes: "Racing WIth The Moon"& "South of the Border" along with a nice showing of theToy Counter by the (re-)builder at the end. The Wonder Mortons often graced Lowes theatres-nice to see one "alive and well" in a theatre.
The Morton in Copley Symphony Hall was originally installed at the Balboa and moved to its current location for its opening as the Fox Theater in the 20s. The Wonder Morton that is now at the Balboa constitutes a long-overdue "upgrade" and here's hoping she'll soon be joined by the one at Symphony Hall!

@wurli815 - thanks for your inquiry! This is a 1929 model, one of five, originally installed in the Loew's Theatre in Jamaica/Queens New York.
