WORN AGAIN nola3 (full version, part 2)

WORN AGAIN nola is a fundraiser for Recycle For The Arts and the brainchild of creative impresario Garyt Shiflett, who organized this year's event with Recycle For The Arts Program Director Elizabeth Underwood. Designers are given a random bag of reject clothes that they then deconstruct and transform into wearable fashion forward couture. The WORN AGAIN jury chooses the designers who will walk the runway as well as the winners of many fabulous prizes. The WORN AGAIN set, stage, merchandise and advertising follows the same ethics and is constructed with 90% recycled material. WORN AGAIN nola3 had 33 designs rock the runway and the audience of 1,000 were blown away. DJ Kristen (Mod Dance Party) and Emcee Chris Lane helped make the evening a smashing success for the fashion and creative recycling community of New Orleans.
