The most important thing for a musician is being open-minded. There is no bad musical genre, there is only good music and bad music.

I know Jazzheads that really appreciate good hip hop, and eminem definitely is an artist. You could say you are just not into it, but when you look at his lyrics, his themes, rhyme structure, improv skills he definitely is a great musician.... be open-minded!

People who like Avashai would also like Bojan Z. He is for sure one of the most talented european jazz pianist. His works stand out because he can truly and naturaly express Balkan sevdalinka, alongside oriental tunes, and many other styles in a contemporery frame. You should check out "grana od bora", "mashala", and "zajdi zajdi" ... cant stop counting ... but you have to promise not to give in of pure joy.
