Suzie McNeil and Deborah Cox perform "Respect", originally by Otis Redding. The duet was performed on YTV's "The Next Star" (Season 1) and aired on September 5, 2008.

Suzie McNeil's new album, "Rock-n-Roller", will be released on November 4, 2008.

Deborah Cox's new album, "The Promise", will be released on November 11, 2008.

Season 2 of The Next Star will have the same host and judge/mentors as the first season: Adamo Ruggeiro, Suzie McNeil, Christopher Ward, and Steven Cranwell. The show premiers Friday July 17, 2009 at 6 pm on YTV.

The "Rock-n-Roller" CD release date has been changed to November 4, 2008. Everyone will need to wait an extra 2 weeks from the original release date of October 21.

The CD Release Party at the Mod Club Theatre in Toronto has also been moved 2 weeks to November 3, 2008. Go to Suzie's website, 'suziemcneil . ca' for details.
