  • After a few recent events this film means even more to me now, don't put off till tomorrow to tell someone how you feel as tomorrow may never come. Fantastic film, and what a heartfelt song to a friend David.

  • yeah sing it.

    Hail White Victory in Christ

  • Excellent! Just Excellent. Have a tear in my eye.

  • That last verse gives me chills the way he sings it. Love this version.

  • This is my favorite hymn, and hearing David sing it gives me chills. Thank you for posting it.

  • As a lifelong LDS member, this hymn means so much to me, I have never known life without it and now it has been elevated to a level I can't describe through the talent of David and Sylvain; you did this song the justice and feeling that it deserves. This tribute to "Killer" Kane was so heartfelt and welcome after his sudden passing. Thank you.

  • I love your version of this song. It is much better this way.

  • R.I.P. Killer

  • hell of a film, hell of a song. thanks for putting this up

  • @pupsenok could you send me that link?

  • Anyone know where you can download the mp3 of this version?

  • Thanks for putting this up. I just watched the documentary "New York Doll" about Arthur Killer Kane and then went online to search for this song. I think it's a touching tribute from David Johanssen to sing this song for his late band-mate. Very cool, and very well done. A very touching song.

  • @JackalJayzer very good point , whatever gets them to watch

  • @MrByaeger to most of the world, david johansen is much more widely recognized as the Buster Poindexter of "hot hot hot" fame, than as the frontman for the dolls.

What you call disrespect could be the poster's way of generating more traffic for this little known gem, just a thought

  • @rockballew i hope you take time tp watch it, AMAZING story..

  • david johansen, not " buster poindexter" . show some respect please, for david and arthur. still i thank you for posting .

  • A great song. What a way to start the day.

  • I love David Johansen's interprtation of this song! Absolutely inspirational!

  • @cdntluvumore
