@rosygirl22345 Hankyung was not the first foreign performer they had but his situation was different from others. He was not allowed to appear on most TV stations and so wore a mask when Super Junior was going to perform on them. Though sometimes he just didn't perform. But his best friend, Heechul, actually took his mask off of him on a live broadcast. The law was changed and he was allowed to appear. Hhahaha, I am not the best person to explain. He wasn't allowed to perfrom on stage since he was the first foreign idol if I am not wrong. There were limited performances that he could actual perform, so he wore a mask so as not to be discovered. I think it's something along that line, correct me if I'm wrong. (:
