VIDEO HAS BEEN MOVED TO VIMEO FOR AUDIO! -- Mark and I drove from Springfield, Illinois to Winston-Salem, North Carolina for Scot and Mahala's wedding which was on April 4, 2009. We stayed at a B&B (Zevely Inn) in the middle of Old Salem and could walk to both the church (at the Home Moravian Church) and the reception (at the Visitors Center). It was a beautiful day for touring the historic buildings and perfect weather for a wedding. We had a great time. The day after the wedding, we drove to Charlotte, NC, to visit my childhood friend, Lisa and her family. We then proceeded with the long drive home via Asheville and the Smoky Mountains. We ate dinner that night in Gatlinburg - which was a shocking little town - I only wish I had any photos or video of it... but it was late, dark and we were both tired. (Video note: youtube rejected some of the music I used in my first version... so this video has been unfortunately edited to hopefully make them happy.)

Is this the Inn that George Washington stayed in? Im going to NC and to Old Salem for a tour for this Christmas. YAY!
