  • is that done in software ??? where the color came from ?

  • @ramiBudemaris Yes it is done with software and hardware. I used a Parallax Propeller microcontroller connected to a Hall Effect sensor and an RGB LED strip. There is a slot cut into the drive platter...Between every revolution it flashes the correct colors underneath the drive platter at the right time to create the illusion of a clock. It was actually not too hard to build. I unfortunately do not have the source anymore or I would share it. I lost it in a computer meltdown a while back :(
